Raven is deeply conflicted as the story progresses on whether she should focus on saving herself or trying to discover a way to help her fellow captor escape as well. When she discovers that, prior to capture, she was inadvertently responsible for death of the other character's family, she finds redemption in an attempt to make the ultimate self sacrifice and kill herself to save a stranger and achieves redemption.
