MAIN CHARACTER
The local Sheriff in this small town took this job to have a simple life after a robbery gone wrong got a woman killed while he was on duty in the city.

This small town was the perfect place for a former NYPD officer to finish the rest of his career. It's far enough from the city that he might have a chance of not having to relive the robbery gone wrong in New York that got a young woman killed. He planned to sit behind a desk and reply to calls about missing cats. He was going to take up fishing and spend more time with the family. But even good plans and the best intentions can get overrun when something unforeseen happens.
